Meet the Owner!

Meet our Award Winning Staff!

I am a South Carolina native and grew up here in the Lowcountry. I studied fashion merchandising in college, and my dream was to have my own business. I’ve worked in retail for many years and after college, I worked for an old Charleston department store as a buyer for the junior sportswear department. Later I took a job at The Ragamuffin and Stride Rite as the manager/Buyer and fell in love with the children’s business. So, at the ripe age of 23, I bought the two stores. Just a year later I opened a shop next door and named it Radical Rags for older kids. It’s a store just for 7-16 year olds! It’s a mix of younger styles and older styles but all in excellent taste so the Parents love it and the kids do too. All the top trending brands and styles that the kids want and are age appropriate. Now we even offer Ladies apparel!

In May I will celebrate 31 years of bringing styles to children in the Lowcountry! Since I grew up in Charleston, I am a Southern girl and I know all about how we dress and dress our children.

With owning and managing three stores, I stay super busy daily placing orders and meeting
deadlines. I hand pick everything that comes into the store myself from clothes, shoes,
accessories to baby gifts. I have a team of incredible Ladies that work with me and I am so thankful for them all. I could not do it without them.

Married for 26 years to a wonderful and supportive husband, Ryan, I am blessed to be a Mother of two grown children. Paige is in Medical School and Chandler attends Clemson, who I dressed from day one at the shops!

I am so thankful that I love every day at work and I have so much fun coordinating clothes and shoes and helping our customers pick out outfits! I love merchandising and displaying.

I am thankful for each and every one of our customers for supporting small local businesses such as ours. A customer said it this way, if everyone shopped online and didn’t come out to local businesses then eventually they would all close. Then we wouldn’t have the opportunity to go shopping and get excited about seeing, feeling and even trying on the merchandise. Small businesses only succeed because of you! Thanks so much for shopping with us!
